KIRTAN 125

WELCOME TO KIRTAN 125

2021 is the 125th birth anniversary of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada and there will be many amazing initiatives taking place all year round to commemorate this special anniversary.

KIRTAN 125 is co-ordinated by ISKCON South London, but brings all ISKCON UK centres and sanga groups together to dedicate 125 hours of sweet kirtan for the pleasure of Srila Prabhupada.

WHEN IS KIRTAN 125

On the last weekend of each month, starting on Saturday 27th February 2021, kirtan will be broadcast live from 1pm to 5pm (1-2-5!). Technology willing, it will be broadcast via Zoom, YouTube and Facebook. Additional 12-hour kirtan sessions will also take place in the summer and autumn, with the details released closer to the time.

On the auspicious occasion of Gaura Purnima, Sunday 28th March 2021, there will be a formal inauguration of KIRTAN 125. Please see the schedule below for the upcoming events.

WHO WILL BE IN KIRTAN 125

Each kirtan session will feature kirtaneers from all over the UK. Most will be congregation members from the various ISKCON temples, sangas and nama hatta groups. Everyone is welcome to provide an offering of kirtan; young and old, seasoned kirtaneers or those brand new to Krishna Consciousness.

There will also be some amazing kirtaneers from around the globe and senior Srila Prabhupada disciples making an appearance each month.
